The Lincoln Lawyer was a good flick, we both enjoyed it, and yes ladies, Matthew McConaughey's shirt does come off. Businesses beware of AT&T!!!!!!!!We here at MyMidlandCounty.com have heard from several business owners that have said they have tried to cancel their advertising with AT&T. The person on the phone says that they can take care of that right now (on the phone). Businesses later receive monthly bills for ads that the customer thought they had cancelled. Upon calling AT&T to find out why they're being billed they are told that cancellation of any ads must be done in writing. These customers are now on the hook for another year of advertising. We at MyMidlandCounty spoke to a local lawyer who said that you could fight AT&T and will probably win. The problem is that it will probably cost you more to sue than to pay the bill for the year. Bottom line: When cancelling your advertising with AT&T DO IT IN WRITING! Update on this story 5/23: One business has informed me that they are getting phone calls from AT&T once or twice a day to collect on the debt. The Source Code:Out of 4 thumbs, we give it 2 thumbs up...mostly. Kind of predictable, but entertaining enough. Nice looking guy, cute girl, things blow up, there's kissing, no nudity, some profanity, and blue skies (if you've been looking at snow for the past 7 or 8 months). Timbers Bistro And Bakery 1031 E. Saginaw Rd. Sanford. 989-...This past Saturday night we ventured over to Sanford to find a place to eat that we had never visited. We find a delightful little pizza place called Timbers Bistro And Bakery. We ordered a Garden salad, a pizza for two, and two drinks, all for just barely over thirteen bucks. The salad was fresh, the Chicago style pizza was very good and filling, and the drinks were cold. The staff was very polite and even stayed open a little later for us late night eaters. Timbers is also a Bakery. We watched a video of the many cakes that they have made and they looked amazing. They also have sandwiches, nachos, soups, chili, garlic bread sticks and maple cinnamon sticks. Everything is made from scratch and made to order. We loved this place and we'll be going back. |
